Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you submit an application, why we collect it, where it is stored, and how you can have it deleted. It is written to be understood, not to protect us.
1. Who handles your information
Operator: Natalia Kuzminski
Trade name: Contratado
Location: Cuenca, Ecuador
Contact: kuzminskinatalia@gmail.com
Our team operates from Ecuador, so your information is accessed from there as well as from the United States. Section 5 explains where it is stored.
2. Information we collect
Only what you give us when you fill out the application form. We do not use tracking cookies and we do not buy data from anyone.
| Information | Why we ask for it |
|---|---|
| First and last name | To identify you and address you properly |
| Email address | To contact you about your application |
| WhatsApp number and country | To tell you whether you qualify, and to schedule the video call |
| Your resume (file) | To evaluate your profile and, if you hire us, to rewrite it |
| LinkedIn profile | To assess how recruiters find you |
| Field, English level, weekly availability and budget | To determine whether we can genuinely help you |
| What you tell us about your job search | To understand where your process is breaking down |
Your resume may contain more personal information than you realize — home address, date of birth, photo, marital status. We treat all of it exactly as described in this policy.
3. How we use it
- To evaluate your application and decide whether we can help you.
- To contact you by WhatsApp or email with that answer, yes or no.
- To deliver the service, if you decide to hire us.
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations if you become a client.
We do not use your information for advertising. Applying does not add you to a mailing list, we do not send you promotions, and we do not hand your information to other companies so they can sell to you.
4. We do not sell or share your personal information
We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months, and we do not do so today. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, "sale" and "sharing" include disclosing personal information for money or for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do neither.
We also do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted under CPRA Section 1798.121.
5. Where it is stored, and who else sees it
Your form responses are stored in a Google Sheet and your resume in a Google Drive folder, both owned by the company and protected with a password and two-step verification.
Where the data lives: Google LLC stores this content on its infrastructure, primarily in the United States, under Google Workspace's data protection terms. Because our team works from Ecuador, your information is also accessed from outside the United States.
Access is limited to Natalia Kuzminski and the members of her team who evaluate applications and deliver the service. All of them are bound by confidentiality.
If you become a client and we apply to a position on your behalf, your information reaches that employer. We only do this with your authorization and with you knowing which position it is.
6. How long we keep it
- If you do not qualify: we keep your application for up to 12 months, in case you apply again later. After that it is deleted.
- If you qualify but do not hire us: same, 12 months.
- If you become a client: for the duration of the service, and afterwards for as long as Ecuadorian accounting and tax rules require.
- If you ask us to delete it: we do so within 15 business days.
7. Your rights
We extend the following rights to every applicant, regardless of where they live:
- Right to know — what personal information we hold about you, where it came from, and why we have it.
- Right to delete — have everything erased, including your resume.
- Right to correct — fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Right to opt out — of any sale or sharing. As stated above, we do neither.
- Right to data portability — receive a copy of your information in a usable format.
- Right to non-discrimination — exercising any of these rights will never affect how we treat your application.
To exercise any of them, email kuzminskinatalia@gmail.com from the address you applied with. We respond within 15 business days and never charge for it.
You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask you to confirm the authorization directly.
Because part of our team processes applications from Ecuador, applicants may also be covered by the Ecuadorian Organic Law on Personal Data Protection and may file a complaint with the Superintendency of Personal Data Protection of Ecuador.
8. Automated decision-making
No application is rejected automatically. The form does not score or filter anyone: every application is read and evaluated by a person on the team.
9. Children
This service is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. If we identify an application from a minor, we delete it.
10. Security
We use two-step verification, access-restricted folders and encrypted connections across the site. No system is perfect: if a breach affected your information, we would notify you and report it to the relevant authority as required by law.
11. Governing law
This policy is currently governed by the laws of Ecuador, where the service is operated from. Nothing here limits rights you may hold under the laws of the country where you live, and we extend the rights in Section 7 to every applicant regardless of location.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we update the date above. If the change affects how we use information you already gave us, we email you before it takes effect.
